In the midst of 2020's global coronavirus pandemic Perth prog rockers Karnivool retreated to the small gold mining town of Coolgardie, 500-odd kilometres east of the capital, in outback Western Australia.
Unable to tour, the band bunkered down in the historic Coolgardie Railway Station - recently fitted out as a recording studio - to work on their long-awaited fourth album.
